DUMBBELL
Investing method in bonds for a majority of an investor’s portfolio is comprised of short-term, low-risk bonds, and also a small percentage of high-risk, long-term ones. Investors can divide the risk between high-risk and low-risk investments while optimizing on the greatest possible returns. Also called barbell strategy.
