EARNED INCOME CREDIT - EIC
In the United States, the tax credit benefiting some taxpayers with low incomes from work over a specific tax year. It deducts the amount of tax owed on a dollar-per-dollar basis, which can give a refund to the taxpayer should the credit amount is higher than the amount of tax owed.
