EARNING THE POINTS
Currency trading term referring to the forward ask price is lower than the spot bid price, leading to a gain for the trader. A trader gains the points when selling at one price now then agreeing to purchase for less in the future. Gaining the point only pertains to the difference between buy and sell prices, and does not consider the time value of money into account. Opposite of losing the points.
