EARNINGS
Corporate profits over a specific period after paying taxes and other expenses. Usually, it is reported per quarter (three calendar months) or per year. It refer to post-tax income. This is the main indicator of the firm’s share price because profits and the circumstance relative to the company can signal if the business will be profitable and successful in the long run.
