Economic/environmental philosophy focusing on local economies, sustainability, and self-sufficiency. It is based on the belief several self-sufficient local economies linked to one another will give a greater benefit to society in general than a centralized capitalistic one. Its principles include biodiversity, decentralization of government, and green economics.
