ECONOMIC RECOVERY
Period of escalating business activity, normally after a recession. Similar to recession, economic recovery is not easy to identify until at least several months after it has started. Economists use various indicators such as financial markets, GDP, inflation, and unemployment rate to evaluate the condition of an economy and determine if a recovery is in progress.
