ELECTRONIC BILL PAYMENT & PRESENTMENT - EBPP
Process of collecting payments through the internet, ATM, direct dial access, or other types of electronic method. EBPP, used by firms, is a core element of financial institutions’ online bank offerings. Usually, there are two types of EBPPs: biller-direct and bank-aggregator. Biller-direct pertains to electronic billing the company offers directly while bank-aggregator refers to paying several bills electronically through a bank.
