ELIGIBLE AUTOMATIC CONTRIBUTION ARRANGEMENTS - EACAS
Part of the Pension Protection Act of 2006 which encourage more employee participation in self-funded specified contribution retirement plans. Like Qualified Automatic Contribution Arrangements (QACAs), all qualified workers must be enrolled in EACA plans and rendered sufficient notice and information regarding the plan, and also their contribution and withdrawal rights.
