ENERGY DERIVATIVES
Derivative instrument in which the underlying asset is based on energy products such as oil, electricity, and natural gas. These are either traded on an exchange or over-the-counter. It can either be option, futures, swap arrangements, and the like. Its value varies depending on the price changes of that energy product.
