ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT
Document reporting the possible effects a proposed federal government project can make on the environment. The National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 requires the statements, to be examined by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The general public can comment on the document even if it is on the draft phrase. The Federal Register publish these statements while people can view it in the EPA’s website.
