ESSENTIAL HEALTH BENEFITS
Set of benefit requirements that must be included in some health insurance plans. It is made up of 10 general benefit categories, which must be part in health insurance plans offered to individuals or via the small-group market to employers with 50 or lesser employees, under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) signed into law by President Barack Obama in 2010.
