EUROPEAN FINANCIAL STABLISATION MECHANISM - EFSM
Permanent fund created to provide financial assistance to EU member states in times of financial difficulties. In essence, it generates money through the financial markets guaranteed by the European Commission. Money raised through the markets use the union’s budget as collateral. ESFM is rated AAA by Fitch, Moody's, and Standard & Poor's.
