EXOTIC OPTION
Option contract with attributes different from ordinary options in terms of the underlying asset or computation of how or when the investor gets a particular payoff. These are more difficult than options trading on an exchange generally traded in the over-the-counter (OTC) market. Opposite of plain vanilla option.
