EXTENDED NORMAL COSTING
- In managerial accounting, a method estimating the production or service costs using an estimated price multiplied by the actual quantity of inputs used.
- In normal costing, exact prices are used for direct labor and direct materials; only the overhead rate is evaluated. It uses estimations for direct labor and direct material prices, and also overhead.
