EXTENSIBLE MARKUP LANGUAGE - XML
Simple and flexible markup language for structured electronic documents. XML is derived from standard generalized markup language (SGML), international standard for electronic documents. It is commonly used by data-exchanged services such as blog feeds to deliver information between incompatible systems. Many other languages including RSS are also based on XML.
