GARBAGE FEES
Unnecessary fees inserted into mortgage costs by lenders to add to the lender’s profit. Such fees may be called administrative fee, application fee, appraisal fee, courier fee, document preparation fee, document review fee, loan origination fee, and settlement fee, among others. Either blatantly illegitimate or normal business costs, these are extremely exaggerated before passing it on to the customer.
