Software firm best known for its adware products. Adware refers to the pop-up interest advertising and this company was one of the first ones to promote widespread adware. Aside from pop-up advertising, its adware trails an online user’s browsing habits and quietly downloads its software that can generate significant computer problems for users by making arbitrary coding. Limewire, eWallet, and KaZaa are some of the most common sites using Gator adware and software installation.
