Standardized business procedures in connection to the operation of sovereign wealth funds (SWFs). Agreed upon by 23 nations with SWFs in October 2008, it states the SWFs will pursue financial, not political, agendas. The countries also vow to make their investment practices, objectives, and structures transparent to all. Also called Santiago Principles.
