GIFT IN TRUST
Indirect bequest of assets to a beneficiary through a special legal and fiduciary arrangement. It aims to avoid taxes of gifts that surpasses the annual gift tax exclusion amount. Gift taxes are almost always paid by the gift giver. Any gift more than $13,000 within a year is taxable.
