Selling and buying certain high-grade stocks or bonds to generate profits. It entails gilt-edged security that can be high-grade stock or bond issued by a financially stable firm such as Blue Chip companies or by some governments. They are low-risk investments since these are guaranteed by strong and established entities. In general, such securities are inversely connected to interest rates, therefore suffering price fluctuations.
