GIVE UP
Procedure in securities or commodities trading where a broker asks another broker (executing broker) to place a trade for him. Normally, this is executed because a broker is too busy to enter the trade for a client and requests another broker to do it on his behalf. The record books won’t show the executing broker’s details, but the client broker where the client belongs. Hence, the client’s broker and the other broker will receive the commission. However, the executing broker received nothing.
