GLOBALLY-CAPPED CONTRACT
Option assuring a minimum return but puts a cap on profits. This is different from a locally-capped contract in which the cap is on the life of the contract rather than intermediate or quarterly returns. Such contracts have become well-known among investors interested in structured investment instruments which are less volatile than straight options.
