NORWAY
Fund comprised of two entirely separate Norwegian investment funds with different mandates: the Government Pension Fund – Global (formerly Government Petroleum Fund) and the Government Pension Fund – Norway (National Insurance Scheme Fund). The first fund is a sovereign wealth fund mostly from Norway’s oil wealth while the second fund is a sovereign wealth fund investing strictly in Norwegian companies. Established in 1990, it has $878 billion in assets as of 2013.
