GOVERNMENT-WIDE ACQUISITION CONTRACT - GWAC
Contract in which several government agencies align their needs and purchase a contract for goods and services. It allows for economies of scale, usually reduce per unit costs. Normally, these are used to acquire new technology such as computers. One particular agency can spearhead the contract, expecting more agencies to follow suit.
