IMBALANCE ONLY ORDERS
Limit orders that give liquidity during the opening and closing cross on the Nasdaq. This order will execute only on either the opening or closing cross. IO buy orders only execute at or below 9:30 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. bid price. IO sell orders only execute at or over the offer price. Before executing opening or closing crosses, buy IO or sell IO orders are repriced to the best bid and ask price, respectively on the Nasdaq book.
