IMPLEMENTATION LAG
Time lag or delay between the occurrence of a macroeconomic event or shock and corrective action by governments and central banks. The delay may be short or long, depending on the complexity of the event and deliberation of policymakers. Governments and central banks can implement corrective action incrementally than all at one time.
