INCOME STATEMENT
Financial statement that evaluates a firm’s financial performance and position over a given accounting period. It summarizes the revenues and expenses incurred by a company. It also displays the net profit or loss generated over a specific period, usually over a fiscal quarter or year. Also called statement of revenue and expense or profit and loss statement.
