INCOME STOCK
Equity security that pays high, regular, and often steadily increasing dividends compared to other stocks. While there is no exact breakpoint for classification, most of these stocks have lower volatility than the general stock market and offers higher dividend yields. These stocks may have restrained future growth options, hence requiring a lower level of ongoing capital investment. The excess cash flow from gains can be given back to investors regularly.
