INDEXED RATE
Interest rate charged to borrowers on loans, which is computed by adding the benchmark index interest rate and the given margin. This is used to know the amount of interest on an adjustable-rate mortgage (ARM). The benchmark index rate is variable, while the defined margin is still fixed. Also referred to as fully indexed rate.
