INTEREST-ONLY ARM
Adjustable rate mortgage that has an initial interest-only payment period. During that period, the individual will not pay off any principal. Payment period varies from one mortgage to another. After the interest-only period, the mortgage must amortize so that the mortgage will be repaid at the end of its original term.
