INTRAMARKET SECTOR SPREAD
Yield spread that is seen between two fixed-income securities that have the same maturity and belongs to the same sector. It can be used to compare approximate credit ratings between firms within the similar sector. This is initially due to the fact the companies issuing debt with similar term, all else held constant, will only show yield differences as an outcome of their credit ratings.
