JOHN ELKANN

Chairman of Italian automaker Fiat, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of investment company Exor. Both companies are controlled by the Agnelli family. The American born Italian industrialist was groomed to take significant roles in the company at a young age after his grandfather Gianni Agnelli and Agnelli’s son and brother died prematurely. Fiat was enduring from its vehicles’ poor popularity for reliability when Elkann joined the company as Vice Chairman. He worked keenly with the management in order to turn the company around.
