JULIAN ROBERTSON
An American former hedge fund manager and investor who established Tiger Management Corporation, one of the first hedge funds that actually generated money during the 2008 subprime crisis. He started his hedge fund with $8 million and increased it to $22 billion by 1998. Now, he stakes other managers beginning new funds and acts on the boards of many institutions and organizations. He formed the Robertson Scholars Program, which gives full scholarships to students in Duke and North Carolina.
