JULIAN C. DAY
The first appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of technology retailer RadioShack in July 2006. Day started his career with consulting firm McKinsey & Company in 1980, then at Chase Manhattan Bank, and at Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts & Co. He also became part of Safeway (North America) in 1993 where he was the Chief Financial Officer and later Executive Vice President. He held the same positions in joined Sears, Roebuck & Co. in 1999. He also served as a director of PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc. And prior to RadioShack, Day was the former CEO and President of mass mass merchandising firm Kmart Corporation.
