KHAZANAH NASIONAL BERHAD
A government-owned investment holding arm of Malaysia. Incorporated on September 3, 1993 under the Companies Act 1965, it holds and administers the sovereign wealth fund of the country. Also, it undertakes new investments where there are strategic opportunities for the government. Malaysian Ministry of Finance is the organization’s lone shareholder.
It has more than 50 companies and assets are approximately $25 billion in 2009.
