LARGE TRADER
An entity, investor, or organization who execute trades with a substantial amount. In the United States, they define large trader as an individual with at least 2 million shares or $20 million in a day; or 20 million shares or $200 million in a month. These large traders should register to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and give the accomplished Form 13H, which is under the Large Trader Registration. Upon submitting their form, the SEC will give them an identification number. They should comply also with SEC rules on recordkeeping, reporting, and monitoring transactions through their brokers.
