LEASE
A written and legal agreement between the property owner (lessor or landlord) and a renter (lessee or tenant) that lay out the details in renting an asset. The lessor gives the lessee the right to use the asset for a certain period and under conditions, and in return paying the periodic rental or lease payments specified in the legal agreement. Both parties should uphold the terms indicated in the contract for it to remain valid.
