Major stock exchange market in Peru that is located in the capital Lima. The Bolsa de Valores de Lima, Spanish name of Lima Stock Exchange (LMA), was founded on December 31, 1860. A year after, it started its operations but did not trade in any type of stocks for the first 30 years. This was relaunched in 1898. Business is conducted both on a trading floor and via an electronic system that was formed in 1995.
