LIMITED SERVICE BANK
Any banking business facility, located separately from its main location, that offers limited banking services. Formed either by own charter or State law in a unit banking state, these banks may accept customer deposits but cannot provide loans or trust services. These banks are only seen in unit banking states where operating more than a single full-service bank branch is not permitted.
