LINEAR PRICE SCALE
A scale plotted on a chart in such a way the values on the scale have an equidistant spacing. Changes in measurement are equal by the same vertical side on the chart, regardless of what the asset’s price level is at when the change happens. The scale is mostly used in short-term trading, which is frequently utilized by commodity futures traders.
