LINE OF CREDIT - LOC
An agreement that is undertaken by a financial institution and a borrower that specifies the maximum loan balance the bank will allow the borrower to maintain. The borrower may exhaust the line of credit any time, as long as he or she does not go beyond the specified maximum in the arrangement. Also referred to as revolving credit and also classified as demand loan.
