LINKED SAVINGS ACCOUNT
Any classification of bank savings account that is connected in an account number to a Negotiable Order of Withdrawal (NOW) or a checking account. Banks offer this service for the convenience of their clients who can secure most of their funds in the savings account and transfer money in a demand account, as needed. Customers are also given the privilege to a reduced service fees or free checking.
