LOAN SHARK
An individual or entity who lends money above the established legal rate. They recover it under bodily harm threat or other strong arm strategy. On a normal basis, lenders cannot charge more than 60% interest rate annum, but this depends on where an individual resides. But a loan shark illegally charges interest above a state’s legal limit that usually range up to - or over - 100%.
