LONDON SPOT FIX
The initial trading price per ounce of precious metals, which includes gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. The price is figured out everyday at 10:30 and 15:00 GMT in a short conference call among five members of London Gold Pool namely HSBC, Scotia-Mocatta, Barclays Capital, Deutsche Bank, and Société Générale. The London spot fix price pertains to the fixed price at the time the meeting concludes.
