MACRO ENVIRONMENT
Economic conditions that exists within an economy, not in a particular region or sector. Generally speaking, it includes trends in employment, gross domestic product (GDP), inflation, monetary and fiscal policy, and spending. The macro environment in which companies or sectors runs its operations will influence its overall performance, and the amount of influence will be based on how much business is dependent on the economy’s overall health.
