MANAGEMENT AUDIT
Analysis and measurement of capabilities and competencies of a company’s business procedures to assess its effectiveness, especially the use of resources, tactical and strategic objectives, and organizational improvement. This is done internally, which has the following objectives: 1) Establish the current level of effectiveness; 2) Evaluate the management team in relation to their competition; and 3) Lay out standards for future performance. Top management, mergers and acquisitions, and succession planning are some events that call for a management audit.
