MARKET CAPITALIZATION RULE
A regulation made by New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to determine the minimal market value of every firm. The rule states companies should maintain their minimum value, which is $25 million, for 30 consecutive days in order to be listed continuously. The standard value was set in 2004.
