MARKET RISK PREMIUM
Difference between the anticipated market return on a portfolio and the risk-free rate. Market risk premium is the slope of the Security Market Line in the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM). There are three precise concepts that are part of market risk premium: required market risk premium, historical market risk premium, and expected market risk premium.
