MARKETABLE SECURITIES
Securities, such as equity or instrument, that can be converted into cash easily at a reasonable price. These securities are very liquid in the sense that their maturities are less than one year. Furthermore, the effect that securities can be bought or sold has little impact on its prices. Savings bonds and restricted shares or stocks are some of the non-marketable securities.
