Activities and efforts of the company’s marketing arm or a third party marketing firm that is designed to promote a business, product, or service; or to increase the awareness of consumers on a business or an organization. With a limited duration, in involves promoting a product through mediums such as television, radio, print, and online; as well as using several types of advertisements. It does not follow that a marketing campaign is purely via advertisements. It can also include word of mouth, demonstrations (in malls, for instance), and other creative and interactive techniques.
